Hiya! I was just wondering is it worth getting a beauty blender as it's quite expensive for a sponge or do other sponges do the job, what are your opinions on the beauty blender? 😊

Honestly, there's many dupes that are just as good, such as real techniques and sephora. (:

It is not worth the price. The only thing different about the bb and a regular sponge is the shape. That shape has been replicated by many companies and sell for a lot less money. I'd go with a dupe that looks similar. You can find them at sephora and even at your local drug stores with some of the more pricy drugstore makeup or with the regular makeup sponges. I also feel that a brush work for me much better than the bb or any dupe.

I don't know I think it really depends on the person. If you're just one of those girls that's not really huge on makeup and walk around with a best face then don't get it. Get the dupe. The dupes and the beauty blender are actually different. The bb has material like the stuff around a microphone, giving you a better finish. You can get it get a decent finish with a dupe. Only if you you're hell bent on having a perfect face.

YES YES YES!! I absolutely love my beauty blender and I think it is totally worth it. Make sure you clean it often if you get one because it will last much longer and you will get your money's worth!

I actually love mine. I've never tried dupes so I can't speak for those but it does such a good job of making my makeup look flawless. It's expensive but I felt it was worth it for me.

I loved my beauty blenders, but after my dogs ate 3 of them within a month or two, it got expensive. So, I tried the real techniques one and ended up liking it even better! I have tried other dupes but I have to say the Real Techniques is the best dupe.

There are so many dupes out there that you can buy I would not suggest buying the real one. The one I have right now I bought from TJ Maxx and it works great.

I think it's definitely worth it! I actually used the discount for joining beautylish to get it and it's was like $19 and I used it everyday it's kinda hard to clean it unless you buy the stuff which I don't wanna waste my money on. I've tried the dupe from Marshall's and it didn't work as well the material was different and mine ripped really easily

I got a dupe for like $3 and I honestly ditched my fingers and brushes techniques... I can't explain it, it just makes the foundation feel nicer on my skin and look nicer... it covers it really well especially when it's wet, and you don't see any foundation lines.. I love it :-)

I love my beauty blender it's amazing! It works so well I can use it to apply my foundation concealer or any cream product! Sometimes I use it to make my makeup look less cakey! I've never tried any dupes but I do think a beauty blender is worth it! It completely changed how my face makeup looked!

I had one from penneys that was 1.50 and I didn't like it. I only really use it for setting powder though. I bought the Real Techniques one a while ago and I really love it for foundation/concealer. It was only 9 euro I think :)

I personally don't think so. I loved how it blended and thought it have my skin a beautiful, flawless finish... But it broke me out terribly! Sponges tend to absorb bacteria, which of course transfers to the skin. My skin cleared remarkably after stopping my use with it. I wouldn't suggest it at all... I prefer a brush or fingertips.
