I don't know about you but ULTA gets a nice chunk from me every month and 10% doesn't amount to much. When states/counties have high sales tax ( California and IL come to mind). I'll still continue to shop there but I'm disappointed nevertheless considering often times products aren't even in stock and at some locations the customer service is horrible. Your thoughts?

Ahh yeah that's not so good. I actually stopped going to my ulta and started going to the new sephora instead. Every time I walked in I would just get stared at, I probably went six or seven times without so much as a hello or can I help you?

Half the time any coupon I have I can never use on the prestige brands at all and I'm with you Shelley I live in that store lol.

The ulta I go to is very nice. the staff members always ask me if I need help or have any questions. I love that store. I always spend over 100 easy lol.

I live in IL and that 10% will cover the taxes Lol But honestly, every Ulta I've been to had horrible costumer service. It also seems that any Ulta I go to is super stingy on giving out free samples/gifts with purchase. You have ask them about it and they reluctantly give it to you like it's coming from their own stash. There's too many experiences I have with them that are unpleasant! All of the Sephoras I've been to are super nice and helpful, and they actually help me without being a know-it all snobs! Plus, I can get all my drugstore items at Walmart, target, CVS, and walgreens sometimes cheaper with coupons or sales! I'm not going to go into Ulta anytime soon. And like Traci said you can't even use most of their coupons on high-end brands! Bah!

I prefer shopping online when it comes to Ulta. There stores imo are using
usually in need of some good housekeeping and stocking. A lot of items are out of stock. The one I go to their staff is a bit out of touch

In OC, CA I have found that Ulta for drugstore brands are cheaper than CVS, but not cheaper than Target.
The Ulta in ranch Santa margarita has horrible CS & their knowledge is lacking.
The new one in Tustin is great though! I had a prego friend who was having a rough time & a lady did a whole makeover for free.

The Ulta stores in my area are honestly useless with the exception of ONE. Customer service is trash and no lie- the last two times I've been in, I've personally heard two different customers ranting about it at the cash wrap. I got that same coupon and I didn't even notice the 10% off prestige..I only saw 20%. Ehhh...won't be using that!

@Tonita...sounds like my city. We have three ULTA's and only one is great. I already did my ULTA run last week so I won't be ultilizing this either.

My Ulta in Illinois is very nice. The staff is friendly and they always give me free stuff, if there's a promotion.

I do agree that it's crap that you can't ever use coupons for prestigious brands. That's the whole reason I go to Ulta!

I think the coupons percentage is determine by what level you are. platinum members get 20%. if your platinum I wouldn't accept 10% off.

@Johari...I'm platinum so I don't get how in the world they send me a 20% one week and the 10% the next. And both have my member # on both. But overall I really think they need to keep it 20% across the board for everyone. All that elitest garbage with discounts is insane.
