So I like never do braids in my hair because my layers usually make it not last very long and I think I look weird in braids but I have been loving chunky braids lately and decided to try a chunky dutch braid for a change. Do you think I can rock it?? Sorry in the picture you can't really see the braid that well because my hair is black and braids are hard to see in pictures: (

That's where the hairspray comes in! I do this kind of braid on plenty of people with layers, I've mastered the technique even without hairspray. What I do is, once the layers start appearing, I take the three strands and merge them together. From there, I make 3 new, more balanced strands and braid until you see more layers and you repeat the last step. But either way you look gorgeous and so does your braid!
