Like the sephora brand? If so, I don't know. But if you mean in general, it does seem like they carry more expensive brands and less drugstore options (if any at all) at least on their website I didn't notice and drugstore brands so I assume the store is the same.

In a word, yes. As someone who has bills to pay, rent, car insurance, etc.etc.I do not have the money to justify a $25 lipstick as often as I'd like.

I'm with Lauren. I have very little disposable income, so to me it is expensive.
Plus their customer service is god awful (at least in all of the stores I've been in) so I really dislike shopping there.

Sephora carries exclusively high end makeup, no drug store products at all.
The cheapest brand they sell is the Sephora Collection brand, which is still more expensive than drug store brands.
Is it expensive or not? Depends on perspective and price range. Is it more expensive than drug store brands? Absolutely.

It really depends on what you consider expensive. As a person who has college bills, car insurance, etc. I don't even have much money with my minimum wage job to cover the basics let alone $25 lipsticks, $40 mascara, $30 primer or $70 face mask. However, to some people $25 isn't bad for a lipstick; in fact I know a girl like that. She just has a lot more disposable income than I do so she can afford higher end products while I need to be at the drugstore for mine!
Sephora mostly sells high end brands though so I believe that yes they would be considered expensive by most people you'd talk to.
