I have been looking for a shampoo that isn't as harsh as VO5 shampoo. Right now, my hair is so dry!
The problem I have been having with shampoos lately that have silicones in them is that after a few washes the ends of my hair will feel sticky. When I slide my fingers through my brushed hair, it pulls, even though there's no knots. It's like there's this film or residue.
So I have been using the VO5 clarifiying shampoo (which has the harsh types of sulfates). So now my hair doesn't have thzt residue and my fingers can slide through without getting caught but it just created a different problem.
Have any of you ladies experienced the residue problem?
Do you have any shampoo and conditioner recommendations that are SLS free and won't cause build up?
