So I'm planning on using my waver iron this weekend and doing a crimped hairstyle. But the thing is that crimped hair looks dry, I have curly hair so my hair is already a little dry. But I don't want to put too much shine oil so that I look like I haven't showered lol. Can I put curl cream on top of it or would that be bad? I'm currently using this curl cream on the pic if that helps.

I'd use an oil rather than a cream. A cream with make your hair heavy and the waves will be weighed down. A oil like coconut oil or argon oil will lightly coat the hair making it less dry but also not making the hair heavy
