I'm going to be doing makeup for a friend of mine tomorrow, and she has quite sunken in, hooded eyes. I don't have very much experience with hooded eyes so I was wondering how to handle this?

I'm sorry but what exactly do hooded eyes look like? I really want to know and I'm sorry this response isn't helpful 😶

I don't have any pictures for hooded eyes. I would go on google images and search up, "makeup for hooded eyes," or something similar to that (: I hope I was somewhat helpful!

I know that hooded eyes are actually quite a challenge to work with. You can't really use super dark colors because in my opinion it makes them look smaller. I say try something lighter like this

Thanks Molly! Tbh I get them mixed up with mono lids since they look similar.

It's where it looks like you have no crease so the best thing to do for it would be to create that natural crease effect (: you can search this up on youtube!

I have hooded eyes myself and it's really hard to do eye makeup. Eyeliner is not preferable and does not look good on my eyes at all! I use a black, pressed, gel in a palette and just put it on the outer corners but not a huge line, I work it into my lashes with a brush. I also use milky white eyeshadow in the inner corners of my eye and on the waterline. Then I do a pink base, dark brown on outer corners and lighter brown on crease.
