Don't really want to wear makeup tomorrow but I have some breakouts that are red around them is there anything to get rid of the redness without makeup?

I've heard that an aspirin mask helps with redness...I've never tried it though.

Can I use Excedrin if you know

If you have any baking soda on hand and a good moisturizer, wash your face with some baking soda and warm water by making a goopy wash with it. Let it sit for 15 seconds and then rinse and moisturize. It'll draw the toxins out of your skin, dry out the breakouts, and reduce the redness all while cleansing! I do it daily.

Baking Soda is terrible for skin because of the pH levels and alkaline in it. I used to use it but it really can mess up your skin in the long run. As for the aspirin mask, I have tried it and it never really helped with redness, maybe some swelling but it was too big of a hassle to crush them and try to get it to stay on my face. I would just try to leave it alone and put some Neosporin on, I find that it helps me to put a band aid over it to help keep it on better.

My mom is 46 and she has the best skin, in very small amounts, baking soda literally does wonders, and it's much better than any other chemical you can put on it...

I personally recommend baking soda as it's way more beneficial than the chemicals in washes, and also, Queen Helene Mint Julep mask works, as long as you aren't sensitive to the mint.

I do like the Queen Helene mask... And the baking soda can make your skin look great but it does damage it each time you use it, so take your pick. Applying cortisone cream also helps with swelling and redness, I'll use that along with the Neosporin. Sometimes using Visine helps but I've used the eye drops that being with and R? Sorry can't think of the name but it helped more than Visine did for me

Rhoto is the eye drop name

Cortisone cream is awesome! But I saw somewhere that people started breaking out terribly (like, cystic acne) because of it, so I stopped using it. But it was a miracle treatment.

You could try a green color corrector and then conceal with a skin tone colored concealer. Clinique has both a redness solutions line that neutralizes redness and then their acne line with acne treating concealers and foundations. You can get the same stuff at the drugstore but I'd go for the Clinique stuff because they are allergy tested and fragrance and oil free so the ingredients will be better quality so they will be better for your skin.

Cucumber. Works wonders

Also, dilute lemon with some cucumber water and use it as a spot treatment for a miracle treatment. Lemon is commonly used to lighten skin pigmentation, either straight or diluted. I recommend using it with water so you don't burn or dry up your skin.
