it's contingent upon who you ask. of course you can thread at home, and it's cheap and works. some don't like the pain, and the risk of overplucking. waxing is quick but can be too tramautic on sensitive skin as well as threading. i have thin eyebrows, so i don't really care which one. threading is cleaner, in my opinion, and lasts for long. though it does irritate my skin.
Wax!
Threading lasts longer

Threading is by far the best way, and lasts longer, when I got mine waxed I used to go every 3 weeks, now it's only 5 with threading xx

I wax and pluck my own, pluck after waxing and in btwn waxes. I've done threading but prefer wax

Plucking only if you know your limit , threading lasts longer than waxing in my opinion , and also waxing is just a pain and leaves me irritated so go for the threading!

Waxing, and I pluck myself if I need to or haven't had time to get them waxed. I've never tried threading, but I've heard good things about it.

I thread. I stopped waxing bc i was told that the tugging of the wax will cause more wrinkles. Plucking is so long and tedious. I do believe that all three methods can lead to thinning of the eyebrows bc each time you go get it done, there's a possibility that the person doing it will go a little thinner to get a cleaner look. That's why I've resulted to getting them threaded but not as often. In the meantime, I try to deal with the strays (bc my eyebrows have gotten thinner bc of maintenance and I'd like them to be thicker again..) by rarely plucking and mostly coloring them in with a MAC eyebrow pencil or sometimes eye shadow.
