Purple dye that doesn't fade to pink.

Is there a cooler purple dye out there that fades to anything other than pink and if there is how would it fade after putting over my warmer purple hair dye?

I've had it dyed permantly to dark more reddish purple and when that turned a completely odd pink/brown color I threw manic panic purple haze to try to fix it myself and its currently a nice pretty even dark plum color (finally!) if any of that helps.

I was going to recommend manic panic lol. it shouldn't fade to pink. not sure how it'll fade since you've put it over a purple that faded to pink, though. sorry I'm not much help :/

Adorè has a great purple that when it fades it just turns a lighter purple not pink

About two years ago I had my stylist use Pravana Violet in my hair. The bleached parts came out a deep, vibrant purple. It didn't fade to pink at all, just lighter purple. However - that stuff is SO messy that I wouldn't recommend it. Although it's either a permanent or semi permanent dye, for weeks after when I washed my hair everything would get stained purple. It was so bad I ruined shirts and got into the habit of wrapping plastic wrap around my neck immediately after I got out of the shower until I dried it or my neck would be stained again. The color was beautiful though.
