Have you tried using a round brush and blow drying as opposed to using a straightener? Do you use a heat protectant? Have you tried shine serums?

What I do is I blowdry my fringe with a round brush, I then straighten it to the style I want, then I use an oil so smooth the the hairs and give shine and lastly I set it with hair spray to make it last!

I blow dryed my fringe with a round brush when I still had bangs. And if they were falling flat or not holding the shape I wanted, I would just spritz them with a little water throughout the day and repeat the process. Took less than five minutes and I always got the results I wanted. Also, blow dry your fringe AS SOON as you get out of the shower. I blow dryed mine and let the rest air dry, but that's all preference. From my experience, letting fringe dry on its own and then trying to style it was nearly impossible.
