Hi everyone!
I just splurged on the clarisonic Mia 2 (although ulta let me use my 20% off coupon on it so saved some). I was wondering if you have any tips or tricks I should know about? My skin is sensitive so I'm going to start off with two to three times a week and work up but other suggestions would be appreciated! Also, do you clean the brush any special way?
Thanks!!

Hi Saybrah!
When using a sonic cleansing device, one common mistake is that most users have an skin care regime that is quite irritating ( which can in terms lead to that never ending purge result. ) Make sure your cleanser is free of fragrance and irritants. Two good cleaners are Cetaphil's Facial Wash or CeraVe's Facial Wash. Follow up with a moisturizer following the same rule and if you use a toner you want one that is gentle.
Sunscreen can help as well and should always be in your skin care regime.
Always try your best to remove every ounce of make up before you cleanse. I use a non-comedogenic oil to remove my make up and follow up a pre-cleanse by pouring a bit of my cleanser in my hands and a little bit of water. I would start off by using your sonic device at night instead of the day.
Never press into your skin. I know it's very tempting but remember that sonic cleansers do way more than any regular face brush/hands/cloth can do. This can lead to irritation and some break outs as well as redness and inflammation.
If your skin feels a bit sensitive any particular day... skip out on your sonic device! I have heard of girls putting their brush heads in boiling water to help disinfect and keep them clean.

Thank you so much Kitty! This is great advice! I want to pick up some of the dash washed you suggested (although would like a smaller bottle to start with). I have the aveeno ultra calming cleanser which might work with it too. Do you have any sunscreen suggestions? The ones I've tried break be out or cause a rash. Thanks again!!
