I recommend Moroccan oil.
the price does vary from where you bye it but its worth every penny , it keeps your hair soft and moisturised.
a little goes a long way with this product

Get a hair mask to use either in or out of the shower. use it a few times a week. or just use coconut oil.

Aloe Vera is good too. I usually do a coconut oil and egg hair mask. It's helped a lot.

Well if they are split ends you have to cut them. You can't do anything for them.

I'd get a trim or cut then do hair treatments, use some oil.

If your hair is damaged you can probably soften it and keep it shiny but you can't really do anything to restore it. Normal haircuts, even if you want long hair. It just takes a lot of time.

Cutting your hair all the time is going to keep it from growing. It's healthy, yes.. but you're hair isn't going to grow. http://beautiebunnie.blogspot.com/2014/05/common-beauty-myths.html?m=1.

If you have damaged/split ends then get those trimmed off first. then you should start using masks. for store bought I recommend loreal oleo therapy deep recovery mask. for diy here are good ingredients you can use: honey, avocado, banana, aloe vera, egg, coconut oil, avocado oil, almond oil, argan oil.

Shanae, if the ends are dead it will go up the hair and look terrible and wreck the root of the hair. It best to get what's wrecked cut off.

That's only obvious. I don't believe I said anything about her not cutting off what's dead.. I was only stating that cutting it all the time will prevent her hair from growing is all.

I had the same problem when I got my ombre. The ends shortly became dry, dead, split, and looked terrible. So what I did was this. I went to my salon and got it trimmed, about an inch off or so. while I was there I had them use a moisturizing treatment, they didi it at no extra cost as a conditioner. Next I began washing my hair less frequently. I made sure to use all moisturizing products and never put shampoo on the ends. I also would put on an argon oil after getting out of the shower, focusing it on my ends. I used and loved this one: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=%09K1287400 It didnt make me greasy at all. Then I also didnt use heat on my hair more than once a week. Doing all that helped a lot. I've also heard amazing things about this hair mask, but never tried it personally. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=%09K1287400
Hope that helps! Best of luck!!
