Questions to think about-
What do YOU honestly think of them?
Do you use one?
If not, do you tan any other way?
Would you rather tan in a bed or get a spray tan?

Honestly, I don't want to take the risk of increasing the chance of skin cancer. So I use self tanners which work really well for me! :)

What self tanners do you use?

I use the St. Moriz self tanner which is like the cheaper version of the St. tropez. I LOVE IT!

I agree with mindy! But I don't get a spray tan either so I only get a tan in the summer.

I don't feel the need to tan because I get tan enough from all the time I spend outside, but I personally don't like tanning beds much. The risk of getting skin cancer is much too high to justify the use of a tanning bed.

I use a garnier one, looks like this. I use it before bed and when I wake up I'm nice and tanned but no streaks or orange look.

No way. Fast track to wrinkles and cancer. I rarely self-tan, but do on occasion using lotion. This year, I did not.

I used to work at a tanning salon and tanned all the time, but I've realized my health (and wallet) is more important to me. I've learned to embrace my paleness.

No way! Tanning beds risk skin cancer and wrinkles. Your skin can look like leather! I don't spray or use a bed. I go outside a lot so I'm naturally tan... But when winter starts I have pale
Skin.

I don't mind tanning beds personally. It seems to me that you can get cancer from breathing these days, so no matter what you do you'll always be at risk. Tanning outside can cause skin cancer as well, and so have chemicals in spray/self tanners. So I don't mind them, but I don't use them yet lol

Personally, I don't think that tanning beds are a good option since they put you at an increased risk of developing skin cancer, premature aging of the skin, etc. I get my tan mostly from being outside (unintentional tanning; I do not lay out in the sun without applying tons and tons of sunscreen). However, I recently picked up some self tanner spray and am super excited to try it out!

I wouldn't want skin cancer so I wouldn't recommend it. 😊
