I tried the photofinish primer and it was just okay for my oily skin...nothing to write home about.

It's okay. But as Rida stated, I don't think it's extraordinary. Monostat Chaffing Gel is cheaper and is pretty much a dupe.

I have the smashbox pore minimiser primer and I love it! :)keeps oil at bay for hours and reduces my pores! same texture as the benefit one but benefit doesn't help with oil control for me.

It's an alright primer, just too silicone-y for my taste. Tkind of heavy and feels like a mask on my face haha. They make application a dream though. (I'm talking about the original photo finish one)
