Hey all!

I know you shouldn't wear fiber mascara with contacts, but I'm not sure if my mascara (urban decay perversion) has fibers? It isn't really clear to me from reading the website description, but I have noticed my eyes feel drier/scratchier more frequently when I wear it. So, do any of you know? Or have you had the same issue with this mascara?

I wouldn't be too sure but once I did wear contacts and put on this mascara and the same result occurred and I constantly rubbed my eyes or they felt really dry. It probably does have fibers.

No, it doesn't have fibers I don't think. It may be a bit scratchy because they wanted a drier formula so that when you put the mascara on, they're thicker and can layer faster (don't have to wait to dry like other mascaras!) It says the "right pull", this is what I'm guessing.

With mascaras like Better than sex, it's really wet, so I understand why they'd want it drier :3

It could be something in the formula besides fibers. If it tends to flake (even unnoticeably) it will cause mega problems with contacts.

I have not had this problem... maybe you are applying it very close to the root (an excess) and has some fallout.

Thanks all! I think it may be flaking, guess I should change :( Emily, I think it was a post by you that originally turned me on to the dangers if fiber mascara with contacts, thanks!

Lara, I do tend to apply close to the root but usually only one light coat...but I'm also very guilty of rubbing my eyes, which I think could make it flake more
