Usa Bb creams is just tinted moisturizer. Mix your moisturizer 2:1 with your fave foundation.

Personally I don't think they're like tinted moisturizers at all, they give much more coverags than one would expec and the moisturizer trick does nothing but lighten up the consistency and make it more like liquid

Bb creams are supposed to be beauty balms with healing properties, like sunscreen, blemish reduction, etc. It's a known fact that American bb creams (especially drugstore) ones do not live up to their claims. It's not a matter of coverage but function and benefits. Since it's just a lighter consistency without the benefits, it's tinted moisturizer. Period.
She can always use concealer if she wants more coverage or change the ratio of moisturizer to foundation if until she finds the right balance. It might work well for her since she explicitly said she wanted a lighter consistency. She said nothing about coverage. Why should she go out and buy something if she can have a quicker and more convenient fix?
