I have done a lot of research on what facial cleansers meant for acne actually work and exposed seems to be #1 has anyone tried it? Should I go for it?

I have not tried that cleanser, and if you post the ingredients that would be quite helpful.
But what companies will not tell you is that for any product to be quite effective, it needs to stay on the skin. Cleansers can include all the fancy skin care they want... but it won't be as effective as a leave on treatment especially since you just wash it all away. If you have acne, I suggest sticking to a gentle anti-bacterial cleanser. BHA's, Serums loaded with Vitamins and antioxidants to help prevent further acne and following a great skin care routine ( Solvent alcohol based free, non-comedogenic ingredients, staying free from essential oils, fragrances both natural and synthetic ), and keeping the skin free of irritation, SPF and keeping your moisture barrier intact will go a long way.

Wow thanks so much kitty and Emily! Exposed has benzine peroxide and salicin acid as well as aloe Vera and tea tree oil. I hope that helps.
