Cutting my hair shorter?

I used to have hair that was halfway down my back and during the school year it was so hard to deal with it so I ended up cutting it to around my shoulders. It wasn't a bob cut but it was a bit short for me. I'm not sure if short hair makes me look childish and I'm not sure if it really suits me but I'm getting my haircut sometime this week and I'm not sure what to do! This is what my current length looks like but it was cut a bit shorter!

I think shorter hair would suit you better.
Maybe like an a-line bob? It would make you look older and give you a new style. Plus short hair is easy to manage!
Or maybe just add some layers to your current style.
