So this all started with a small pimple I had on my cheek. I late put tea tree oil on it AND IT STUNG SO BADLY I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO DIE!! Honestly, it was so painful. then I had so much redness I am afraid its a permanent thing. Please someone tell me this isnt permanent! PLEASE!!

Do you ppl need a pic or is that too disturbing?

It's not permanent, don't worry. Most likely you didn't dilute the oil enough and your skin is too sensitive for that concentration of oil. Put some moisturizer on it and it'll go away.

You should have maybe diluted the oil first, if it was 100% tea tree oil. Maybe try putting some aloe vera on it and let it be. Did you wash it off?

Would Vaseline work as a moisturizer?

Using tea tree also depends on your skin type. Tea tree tends to work best for outlier skin types. If you have dry or sensitive skin tea tree may not be the best spot treatment

Right sorry I knew that... I do a lot of acting so I can be a bit dramatic lol.

You actually can give yourself a minor burn from using un diluted tee tree if you have comprised skin if you see it developing a shiny look or a light scab put a little aquaphor or polysporin on it.

Rinse your face with water and irritation should go down. next time dilute the oil or what you like to do is crush up ibuprofen and mix with water. It soothes and gets rid of swelling. right now your skin is irritated so I suggest doing nothing.
