I have hardly any eyebrows and the older I get the worse they are. When I was younger I overplucked like a lot of girls did. Now I am paying the price.

Unfortunately I barely have any eyebrows, so I have a daily routine with eyebrow penci which can you imagine is not the best when I am on Holiday, etc...

I would really appreciate any help with this girls...

Carli Bybel had a great DIY video for a growth serum for eyebrows and eyelashes, I personally haven't tried it so I don't know how well it will work but I think it's definitely worth a shot! Here's the link: http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=_WM9QcX5DP0.

Hi, my sparse-brow fellow! Well there are a number of serums and DIY for that purpose. To be honest, the ones I've tried have not dramatically worked for me.
They all have similar ingredients, like castor oil.
I even tried my husbands regaine.
That one worked a bit but it was not like I was a werewolf from one day to the next.
My brow routine includes pencil and brow prouder, an on top of that you can set it with mineral powder. I can even go for a swim and still have brows on. So, go for good products. I totally get your struggle.

Hey girls, ah it's good to know that it's not just me :))) sometimes I just accept it, but other times when I wake up in the morning and I see myself in the mirror I just start laughing because I look funny, I will try some products you have recommended to me and I will continue my daily routine I guess in the mean time lol... I also heard about semi-permanent make-up I though that might be a good idea and worth to try. Did any of you tried it perhaps?

Well my mom had hers tattooed and it turned out to be a MAJOR FAIL!! Not only do they look totally unnatural but they also killed the very few brow hair she had. Now she looks like a very angry frog.
It's horrible, I know. But I told her so many times not I do it!! Later on she had the tattoo removed and had some new tattooing done. The very angry frog is still there. She's a gorgeous woman but I think she would look even prettier without all of that shi@&!t she did with her face.

Oh gosh, that is why I am so scarred to do it :)) I think I will just stick with my pencils and try some magic products hopefully will start growing, I don't mind if it's taking long time, but at the moment I am hopeless, I blame that day so much when I overplucket them gosh :(

Please excuse my pic but I'm new here and couldn't find a decent pic. I read that the thyroid could cause thinning brows so it couldn't hurt to check it out. They also have very beautiful "press on" type brows but I couldn't say where I saw them. If it were me I would search the entire internet before I resorted to tattooing as it could end up permanently unfortunate. Hope this helps.

Welcome in here Mandy :)
Yes, I heard about thyroid as well, I will have a look around, but I think this happened because when I was around 15 age, one day I plucked my brows way to much, and since then my eyebrows are not growing normally. No, I don't think that I will ever tattoo my brows as I am too scarred that it will look unnatural... Actually I got compliments all the time about my eyebrows because I draw them so many years now I become a professional :)))) but of course I will always now how they look in the morning :)

Hi! Emu oil is great for brow growth and more effective than castor oil products bc they're usually so watered down..pure castor oil works better like Jamaican Black Castor Oil (7$, Sally Beauty) the emu oil you can find online. Also try Hairfinity supplement, the Biotin stimulates hair growth. An old recipe my aunt uses for thinning hair is a teaspoon of cayenne pepper, black tea, 1/4 cup of castor oil and 1/4 flaxseed oil, 1cup of water. bring it to a boil, and massage the mixture in to the area. The cayenne pepper stimulates blood flow to the area, encouraging growth, along with the castor oil and flaxseed. I forget what the black tea is for lol but she used this on me when I was younger and had bald spots bc of eczema.

That sounds like a lot of fun. I hope I can get emu oil somewhere online. I'm definitely going to try it.
