I want to know if you've ever had any beauty fails. I.e first tries, not reading correctly, etc. here's mine from last week 😂. My face seriously needed a mask treatment. So I went to where I keep all my samples. I grabbed a packet that said rejuvenating mask. I applied it all over my face and waited, I didn't know how long to leave it on for, so I checked the label. Not only did I find the time, but also the words 'shampoo prior to use'. It was a hair mask. My face broke out a lot. Xoxo~ Kenna 💕💎

I think my WORST beauty fail was when I had a really bad breakout so my mom had taken me to target to buy foundation. Keep in mind I had never worn face makeup. I wasn't educated on the whole skin type thing and foundation. So I grabbed whatever one. Not knowing that I can just buy concealer to spot conceal. I ended up buying maybelline fit me foundation. I wore it for about two weeks and my face broke out all over in huge painful cystic pimples. It was so bad. I didn't know that I had oily skin and I didn't know that you shouldn't used oil based foundations on oily skin. It was awful!!

When I was 14 I was staying over at my cousins house and we were going out to eat soon, I had a pimple on my chin so I went through her makeup to find something to cover it up with. I didn't know anything about makeup then so of course I ended up "concealing" my blemish with eye primer. Let's just say the pimple was worse afterwards.

When I first started wearing foundation I didn't really check if it actually matched my skin so when I would wear it I wouldn't blend it out very well and apply loads of too light face powder I looked like an orange cake face.

When I was taking a shower I was about to wash my face. keep in mind that I was tired and I had school the next day! I got my face wash on my hand and I pretty much shampooed my hair with it. it was a Mess and my hair was sooo gross! I don't know if that's a beauty fail but I just thought that I would say that bc that was a gigantic mess up!

I had the wise idea to see if liquid eyeliner would work on my waterline in the middle of class, lmao.
I had a red/black eye afterwards! I don't know how no one noticed me flailing around like a blinded fish in class.
My mom did NOT want me to get my eyebrows done back in middle school ( I have thin hairs but my dad is hairy so they are everywhere. ) So I took matters into my own hands and just shaved them off.

Basically anything beauty related that I did in middle school was a DISASTER.

And bras, my mom assumes that because she had no breasts that I have none either, so I was sporting an A cup for a couple of years when I'm a 32D :( I had so much back pain and my boobs were EVERYWHERE!

Mine was probably when I did my first cosplay. I went out and bought some foundation, etc.but I had no idea how to apply it! I probably walked around the entire day with a streaky, pale face XD.

Mine would have to be when was younger I wanted to try gel eyeliner but I didn't own one so I took mascara and a angled brush and let's just say I got a little exited and covered half my eyelid in mascara :|

I have a very fair skin tone. When I first started wearing makeup I found a concealer that I liked. I didnt know the difference between fair and light, so I got light. I wore it to school the next day, and under my eyes was a totally diffrent color than the rest of my face! It was bad.

My beauty fail was when I was 13 and I was going through a phase of wearing makeup evryday to school. I didn't have good lighting the morning before school and I actually took my mums foundation and applied too much. I got to school and my friend commented on my makeup saying it looked cakey,I looked in the school bathroom mirror and I had blotches and it looked like I had applied to many layers.It was so cakey,I guess I was thicker than my makeup that morning...x

One time I was in a rush to leave the house. So I rushing to finish my makeup, when I was done I headed out the door to the mall. On the bus a lady told me I had really nice eye lashes, I thanked her and thought nothing of it as it is a compliment I often get. While I the Mall I went in to mac. Two different ladies told me I has such long eyelashes and one even asked me if I was wearing fake lashes, I told her no but thanked her for her compliment. I went to saphora and was seeking help for a lady who worked there, she also said I have such nice eyelashes and said that they were fake. I told her no they are real. She said "oh I assumed because it looks like one of the lashes fell off." I said no that can't be. I decided to look in the mirror only to find out that I Only applied mascara to my right eyelashes a d not my left. I was so embarrassed.

Also, when I was younger maybe 14 I always wore some sort of foundation. I didn't care how light or dark it was, I just needed something on my face. So one day I had ran out of my foundation and my sister wasn't home so I could not use hers. I decided to put blush ALL OVER my entire face and call it a day.

One time a few years ago I ran out of concealer and was panicking trying to find a way to cover my dark circles- so I decided to use a light nude eyeshadow (the closest to my skin tone I had) and apply that instead. Unfortunately, I didn't do it in very good lighting... So I didn't notice that the shadow was shimmery. My circles weren't dark anymore, but they sparkled all day instead.

I did my make up nicely but dark because I was going into town with my cousin we decided to go to her sisters gaa match after town and I got hit in the face with a ball full force so I rubbed my eye full of mascara, eyeshadow and eyeliner and my cuz didn't tell me but it was all spread along the side of my eye and we had to walk home! I didn't realise till we got home that it was like that! 🌸😄🌺

In middle school I used the mousse foundation in a glass tub as concealer so I had different colored dots on my face lol and when I was in 5th grade I only wore bottom eyeliner nothing else lol

I once made a face mask... I mean, I make face masks all the time, but this one went wrong. I wanted to invend a new one which was perfect for my skin type. So I make one which had all the right ingrediants. I applied it to my face and noticed a burning sensation. But sometimes you have that, that just means it works. But it started to get worse. It hurted so flippin' much! So I quickly washed it off. I had it on for about 9/10 minutes. My face was completely red and I had rashes and it was itchy and it hurt. And to make it even worse, I made a mask just because of the fact that the next day was PICTURE DAY! So I wash my face with cold water for a few minutes and then put some ice cubes in a paper towel and slowly move that around my face for 10 minutes or so. The redness was much less, but I still had a rash.

So what I have learned:
-use a little bit and put it on the bottem of your chin.
-don't make a new facemask the day before picture day
-don't wait "until the pain gets less" 'cause that never happens
-homemade facemask + face + picture day = ugly picture

When I first started drawing in my eyebrows a went way tooo heavy handed with plucking them, I plucked off the whole front of my eyebrows and the gap between them was so big. It looked so bad, people would ask me why my eyebrows looked like this and I didn't understand at the time that it looked so stupid.
