Is black on the waterline outdated?

Someone told me that wearing black liner on your waterline everyday is?old school? do you think that's true?

I think if the only eyeliner you are wearing is the waterline than to me it's a lil outdated but if you have eyeliner on the upper lash line than I personally think it's fine that's just my opinion though doesn't mean much lmao

Actually, the decision on whether or not one should put black on the water line all depends on what look the person is going for. If you're going for a more elegant makeup look, then you would use a white or a nude on the waterline because that will make the eyes look bigger and brighter. However, if you're going for an edgy, or sultry makeup look, using black eyeliner on the water line is the best choice.
