I just purchased Ready, Set, Gorgeous Powder Foundation by Covergirl, and so far I love it! It kept me matte almost all day, after two 4 hour labs today too. I'm wondering if there's a better way I should apply it. I'm only using the sponge applicator it came with.

You need a mini powder brush for travel and a regular sized one for home.

So I should use a powder brush? Which is more beneficial to use do you think, the sponge or a brush?

A brush is your best friend, you can't go wrong with a brush.

I prefer to apply powders with a brush. Every time I have tried to use a sponge I feel like it cakes on too much product in all the wrong places. But that being said I have always preferred brushes over sponges so I'm a little biased I guess.

No it's true, as a make up artist brushes give a more natural look.

I agree. Brushes really are the best option if you want a natural and flawless look. I recently switched from applying my liquid foundation with my fingers to using an anctual brush and the results are amazing :) Hope you love it as mych as I did! :)

I personally use a big dense fluffy brush for my powder :)
