I think your primer may be the problem. if it is not an oil free primer it can be the cause of the runny liner.

When I do winged liner I don't use primer. I love the physicians formula liquid liner it stays put all day even if I sweat!

Oh then in that case I would invest in a waterproof liquid liner. I had to try so many that I didnt like before I found my perfect fit which is the physicians formula one as I mentioned.

My eye shape does that to my eyeliner too just don't wear it so heavy and it won't do that - or you can set it with setting powder & spray that helps for the most part of top of using waterproof liner and primer

My eye does that with certain eyeliners. others don't bother me. if I were you I'd keep searching for one that doesn't irritate your eye like that.

Mikayla sometimes water proof just doesn't cut it and frustration just takes over but it can be prevented.When applying a eye primer especially for bottom lash line and corner crease it's best to apply eye primer with a thin liner brush to get to those problem areas that always seems to bleed the liner due to allergy or sweat.If all else fails try a eyeliner sealant to help with the no budge of the liner.:-)

I have that problem also and have to use eye drops every morning. my eyes are dry and that is why they water all the time. I'm not a doctor and I'm not telling you tonuse eye drops, but going to your eye doctor to get to the root of your watery eye problem may be helpful.

I never use liquid liner because of this exact problem. I use Maybelline Lasting Drama gel liner. It dries relatively quickly but can fade to a charcoal colour, so if you're looking for an intense black, apply a second coat after 5-10 minutes to make it longer lasting.

If you're not already, try using a short angled brush to create a perfect wing. You can plot out your wing and using small strokes work back from the wing on to your eyelid to control the thickness. Use concealer on a small brush to clean up the wing if there's any rough edges.

MAC Fluidline is also a great alternative to the Maybelline gel liner if you have a higher budget, and one coat will keep its colour all day.
