I know you aren't doctors but all lotions I have tried irritate my skin, make me itch and even break out in hives. I've only been able to use Burt's bees products. Any common irritants I may be allergic to?

May be your skin is allergic to chemicals. Try to use natural products or the ones prescribed by a dermatologist.

I have your same problem, I have really sensitive skin and problems with eczema 😔 even the lotions that say 'sensitive skin' break me out. I think what you're sensitive to may be most likely from 3 things: dyes, fragrances, and/or preservatives. I'm not a doctor or anything, and it's just my guess, but I've had bad skin reactions to almost all lotions I've tried; from Jergens, to Nivea, to Dove, to Gold Bond. :/ Try to look for lotion without strong smells (I know that it's tempting to buy a really nice smelling lotion 😩), and not too many preservatives (while they're necessary to keep bacteria from growing in it, but it can also be irritating to your skin, it's what I think did it for mine). That's my guess 😊 I've been using Aveeno lotion lately and I think it's the best lotion I've used so far. It's moisturizing and so far, hasn't irritated my skin or broken me out. Good luck, and if your problems persist, maybe think about seeing a dermatologist ðŸ˜Š

Look into Eucerin lotions if you have not yet. My dermatologist actually recommended it to both my mother and I for our super sensitive skin. It's actually meant for eczema and rosacea sufferers. Unless otherwise stated it is fragrance and and dye free.

I agree with those saying fragrance and alcohol which are both pretty harsh irritants.
