Do you have a picture with your eyes closed? this doesn't look like a Smokey eye, but it is pretty :)

It's a lovely look :) one thing, it's not a smokey eye. A smokey eye has the darkest color on the lash line and or lid, and leads up to the lightest color on the brow bone.

Its really pretty:) nice blending but it's not a true smokey eye. A smokey eye is really dark by the lash line and gets lighter as you go out.

Really pretty, great blending :) I'm not sure what that is called, but a smokey eye has the darkest color all over the lid & gradually gets lighter. if you learned from YouTube or pinterest, that's probably why you thought it was a smokey eye. there is a lot of misinformation out there & so many "gurus" don't know what an actual smokey eye is unfortunately. I'll find a picture of a real smokey eye :)

It is a smokey eye. A smokey eye can be made of any colours it is called a smokey eye meaning no hard edges.

Yeah so tough subject smokey eye is actually a technique of blending to make it look like smoke aka no hard edges between colours and outside... Asked my makeup diploma teacher today who has worked on runway for mac and chanel :) she said that both what jacqueline and I were saying is true. She said that this is a smokey eye technique with a stronger contour xxx :)
