Homecoming dance help

Hey everyone it's been like a really long time since my school last had a homecoming dance and this year I'm part of bringing it back and so I've never really been to a homecoming dance except for this one really awful one freshmen year at a different school so any tips on dresses or make up or hair or anything and also what kinds of traditions does your school have for homecoming? Thanks!

My school is weird and most people wear longer dresses for homecoming and short dresses for winter formal. A club at my school also picks out a theme and this year it's evening in Egypt, so there will probably be a lot of gold blue decorations. Most girls also go full out in makeup and hair by doing updos and such. I hoped this helped!

Definatly need a theme!
if your part of bringing it back , do you mean your on the homecoming committee? if so, amp ppl up for it by wearing a dress when you hand out flyers or announce the date n theme! maybe have your class vote on theme/ decor.
as for you, definitely. full makeup n hair for this event!
we did some sort of contest/event at these. like limbo, dance off ext.. maybe plan something like that. what month is it in?

Thanks! Yeah I'm a co-head of the homecoming committee but the other heads want it to be school themed and our administration won't let us have a court, king or queen but those are great ideas for advertising thank you!
