Hey ladies!! I came across something that seemed pretty fishy today, my cousin sent me this website knowing I constantly buy makeup and everything, it's called shopcheapmakeup.com.
I checked it out and it has MAC products on there for under 10 dollars!! it really strikes me as odd BUT my cousin who sent me the link goes to cosmetology school and said her instructor ordered from the website and said it was legit. has anyone heard or ordered from this website? please let me know! thanks a lot lovelies

Do not, I repeat DO NOT order from any websites that advertise cheap high end makeup. It will be knock offs, and you don't know what kind of harmful ingredients they put in that crap. All those websites are the same. And I've seen about 2 others that look exactly the same to the website you listed above, just with a different domain name.

I wouldn't take the risk as I've heard a story of a girl who went blind in one eye because she ordered benefit they're real off ebay and it literally was just black paint it's horrible:(

I suggest taking a cheap makeup class to get your certificate then get the Mac Pro discount if you want mac for 40% off. I wouldn't trust that site.

Please don't get a certificate just to get a pro discount. Many companies are limiting or eliminating their pro programs because people are doing this. It the entire industry and hurts the people who actually work hard and earn the title.

If you want a pro discount, work hard and establish a legitimate portfolio, AKA actually be a pro. Not a hobbyist who threw a hundred bucks at a makeup class and got a certificate for nothing.

I also agree with Emily. I am in the midst of doing a diploma for beauty therapy. I'm sorry Trisha but that's the worse advice I have ever read.

I agree with Emily. But honestly even if you did just do a class and get a certificate you usually still have to show a lot of documents and proof to get a pro card at many brands/stores. You usually have to give them a sample of your work (a portfolio page), a copy of your work in print, a copy of your business cards if you have one, etc. Every place is different and those are just random examples of requirements I've seen here and there. I went to a program for special effects makeup and I don't even have a single pro card anywhere because a) they don't accept my type of certificate or b) my work isn't recent enough because I am not getting enough freelance for it to be as up to date as it must be to get the card. So you usually actually do still have to be working as a pro artist to be eligible.

I did a whois lookup for this site Shopcheapmakeup.com using http://www.whoisxy.com/ . Here I got formatted information. Then I have searched some reviews in Google finally I saw some reviews here Scamadviser site I got this message " Suspicious - This Site May Be Risky! " and here Webutation.net I got 100% web reputation. From these good reviews, I found that this website is safe to use.
