I'm going to start making videos too, hopefully soon. I can't give you much advice of my own because I have not started yet but I did see a video from one of my favorite gurus her name is Emily Noel, search for her video on Youtube its titled: How I make videos

I've been making videos on youtube for over a year now, and honestly if you want to do it then just do it. If you have any specific questions please don't hesitate to ask. I'd be happy to help.
Don't worry about "looking stupid," If someone is going to criticize you then why would you want them as a subscriber anyway?
One thing I will say, and I tell this to a lot people and some get really bent out of shape over it. If you do not have a back bone, or you cannot handle insults and complete and utter d-bags, then you probably won't get far. I am not trying to sound bratty, but it's true. People have gained confidence, though, in creating videos, but there are some people that get really upset over it, and if you get teary-eyed over a petty insult then... in reality you won't make it through life, but it would be hard to handle the things some people say.
I am not trying to sound like a total bitch. I am sorry if this offended you in any way, but it needs to be said, because not everyone realizes it.
