This thing appeared on my nose within the last 2 days and I have no idea what it is just that it hurts, yes I have pushed on it but only creamish liquid came out.

It may be impatigo being that it is around the nose area, I'm not sure if I spelled it right but just google it (:

Do I pop it or just let it fester? It hurts and keeps filling up with the liquid, I've never had a pimple like this before

It looks like a small cyst and you may have gotten bacteria in it because of thre bright red ring around it ,it's a sign of a infection ,you might want to have a doctor look at it ,and you also might be using creams that are to thick because you have millia under your eye ,if you can't get to the doctor clean the area with a witch hazel or peroxide and put some neosporin.don't keep picking at it because you can make it worse

I think this is just more than one pinkel...pop it, clean it, and put some penaten on it over night.

Thank you so much everyone, I googled the answers other than a pimple and in person it looks nothing like any of those. I popped it (I usually pop my pimples) ad then took a steamy shower to let the rest fall out. There is a small cut around where I pushed so I'm going to put some neosporin and a bandaid on that tonight. Here's what it looks like (and much less painful)

Stop picking and popping what ever it is... youre going to spread the infection, and scar your skin.

Its hard to tell by pic... keep it clean, and get the inflammation down be for anything. Cold pack it. Crushed ice in a dry, clean wash cloth. Apply 10 minutes on, minutes off... don't touch it anymore, fingers are dirtier then we think.

Which hazel is a great idea, don't over use. Moderation...

Any idea what triggered it? Is the pus thick or watery? Clear or opaque?

The pus is cream-colored and pretty watery, I just now have a ice pack on it and will keep my fingers off. I'm currently out of town and not in any city. I think it was being too lax on my skin care routine, I hadn't been washing my face everyday or putting on my usual products and my nose is very prone to breaking out.

Probably just pustuals then... keep them clean, and get inflammation down... after you can look into a spot treatment to dry it out... keep us filled in if you have any changes... what's your current skin care routine?

Hun when bacteria from your skin gets into a open wound popped pimple or cut it can cause a problem scaring or worse Mrsa because that lives on 85 percent of peoples skin so try not to pop your pimples at all if you do use gloves and clean the area an neosporin will help it ,cream colored pus is a sign of infection a cyst is just a sack filled with infectious fluid

Traci this appeared looking like the first picture 2 days ago, it looked exactly like a pimple and I didn't push at it until last night. I've been treating it like a pimple since then and the swelling has gone down, it isn't red anymore but there is still a pimple (I think there were 2 pimples) I'm going to follow the normal routine for pimples (icing it, putting neosporin and a bandaid on at night, and not picking at it) and see how that goes over the next few days. If it gets worse or doesn't get any better I will call my dermatologist and see if it is a cyst

I'm more concerned on why you have so many milia under your eye. Are you exfoliating there?

Jun 29, 2014

Bridgette D.

I actually only have about 4-5 milia underneath my eye. (Both eyes together) the previous picture was my eyelashes. I do exfoliate so my milia is under control and I know how to get rid of them.

You can use a enzyme peel for under the eye area Isomers eye peel if you want to try it it's a gentle way to exfoliate the eye area and try not to use creams that are to thick in that area the eye area has less layers of skin

Ahhhh! I've been wondering what those are called! I have had one on my eyelid for a while and recently saw another come up under my eye! I was like omg I don't even know what this is / what to do about it & once I saw the second I was like "k time to go to the derm lol" I do chemically exfoliate my eyes however I do have a dermal anchor in that area so I try to avoid it. I haven't been doing a good job apparently LOL I have the isomers eye peel in my cart! as always you're the best Traci <3

Lol Xoxox Grace I use it once a week it works great on millia as well as wrinkles.

Jun 29, 2014

Over exfoliation, can cause milia, you shouldnt exfoliate around eyes. Unless ezymatic...

I probably would've popped it too, I always pop my pimples even though I know I shouldn't! >:/ I feel like what you have is probably just a pimple but what do I know :p.

Ha ha...bridgette yourr right :-)

By enzymatic you mean like a product that exfoliates chemically, right Amy? :) Sorry I'm not the most knowledgable and the terms sometimes confuse me lol. I use a like physical exfoliator on my face, and then for my eye area I use a peel off thing from Ulta. What would you recommend for the eye area? Thanks! <3

Jun 29, 2014

Traci L.

A enzyme is peel is usually made with fruit acids that gently nibble dead skin away and does not need to be neutralized because it stops working after a certain amount of time ,it's perfect for the eye area because you can't use strong chemical peels or manual exfoliaters near your eyes.

Isomers is a enzymatic peel.

I'm clueless & don't know what I'm buying haha thank you Traci <3 How often should I use it? I have 2 little milia bumps on my right eye and none on my left yet thankfully!! 😭😭😭
