Hi guys!!!!i just bought an urban decay palette off amazon because i had a gift card.... is there any tricks to telling if its a genuine urban decay palette or am i just gonna have to wing it? code numbers? anything? thanks!!!!!

I know people sell real UD Nake Palette BOXES, but the palette inside is a cheap, non urban decay one.
Other than that, I really don't think people try to make fakes of UD palettes other than the Naked because it's so ridiculously popular and people will do anything to have it

i contacted the seller he gave me my money back told me to keep the product and he was sending me something else. i had read his reviews prior before purchasing. he was at 100% positive feedback and had said a % of purchases went to a good cause so this is why i bought from him. the box it arrived it was a legit UD box...but the palette was not. im glad it was resolved i just feel bad ad for people who may have purchased makeup online and were taken...let this be a lesson to anyone just beginning in makeup.... be careful!!!

Yay! Good to know that he was willing to work with you on this, but there should have been a full disclosure on the product page saying it was not the real deal if he truly meant to do good/legit business. I sure hope there really is a good cause!
