So, I was a natural dark blonde, and started dying my hair anything from bleach blonde to black around age 14. It's always been really wavy/frizzy, and I never know what to do with it aside from straightening. A few months back I got it cut into a cute angled bob, but it's grown out just enough that it doesn't look right no matter what I do. Any suggestions?

I have done exactly the same from around 13/14 too and by the age of 20 my hair was in such a bad condition. I went from black to blonde and it made my hair lose elasticity and all strength. I restored it to health by using Ojon shampoo, conditioner and hair mask (Dry Recovery 2 minute mask) and although it is incredibly pricey, the results were definitely worth it. Also I refrained from straightening for about a year and that pretty much got rid of the frizz. I suggest you emphasize the natural waves in your hair by using either Moroccan Oil or any styling product that just focuses on treating the frizz. John Freida serum is quite good but tends to make my hair greasy pretty fast.
Also are you hoping to grow your hair out? x

A bit off topic but I have two kittens and they are just like the cat in your pic :D so cute! I like the beachy waves, its a little bit difficult to see your hair color in that pic but if the one above it is anything to go by, I think you should stick to blonde because it looks beautiful on you! I had your hairstyle a few times and I just felt that it was at an awkward length where I couldn't do anything with it. I just let it grow out a bit and kept it wavy. You have such a versatile face shape though that I think most hairstyles would suit you x

I like your hair :) I have a problem with my hair at the mo, I love the colour I have but the length is so annoying I'm trying to grow it out and it's taking blooming ages. x

My hair SUCKS! I bleached my hair once nearly 2 years ago and I'm still paying the price now! I had it boy short, and now its shoulder length! :D I stopped dying it for ages, completely gave up hair products, straightening and blow drying, it looked and felt great! I dyed my hair black nearly 2 months ago and straighten it probably every 3 days, I don't blow dry and use a repair mask once a week, but the horrible frizz has come back! >_< My hair literally looks like it's died, I look like a scarecrow :( I want to dye my hair again in the summer, but not when it's like this :(

I think you should grow your hair back out the way it was in your cat picture but you should also keep it blonde (: oh, and do the crunchy waves too lol that would look so cute

Embrace the waves. I have frizzy/thick/wavy hair and I'm growing it out into the bob-type...something lol I haven't decided yet. I never knew what to do with mine either so when I was 17 I got a pixie cut (and dyed it A LOT). The cut worked really well for me but now it's time for change. My hair is ALMOST down to the highest point of my jaw...It's sooo irritating >_< It's taking FOREVER to grow.
I say, work with your hair, not against it and also keep it moisturized so it doesn't get frizzy. And I agree with the above comments, I like the blonde on you....maybe with lowlights?

I was trying to go back to blonde after dying it dark brown for years and what ended up happening was a half blonde, half orange/reddish brown hair. I ended up dying it an auburn color and now that it's washed out I think I can get it up to a blonde/light brown. :) Now if it would just hurry up and grow out I'd be totally fine!

Why don't you get it cut again?
