I use liquid liner everyday, and i'm in high school. around midday it's either faded or rubbed off. any tips to give it more staying power? I'm not buying anymore liners so don't say that lol. thanks :)

What liquid liner are you using? Besides using a primer underneath you could pat some matte black shadow on top of it. I know you said you wouldn't buy anymore liners but I use Wet n Wild'd Mega Last Liner and it lasts all day and it is around $2-3. Do not get the H20 water proof one. I hate that one! haha. Hope I helped. Good luck. :D

thanks Alexis. first I used Revlon Colorstay Liquidliner then I got Line Stiletto one, and they both tend to fade toward the end of the school day. i even put shadow on top, maybe I can go snag that wet n' wild one... i'll try lol I'm just tired of buyin eyeliner cause it gets expensive for a 14 year old lol

Haha yeah I've been there. I remember I needed to get my eyeliner fix cheap and quick! You can also try out the wet n wild gel liner. Its roughly around the same price. It comes with a brush but you can get the Sonia Kashuk liner brush at Target for around 5 dollars. It will apply better and will last you a long time. I haven't tried it out but I have heard great things about their gel liner. Its funny when you think long lasting you don't thing Wet n Wild. But they have really improved their products. Also check out Nouveau Cheap's Blog she post weekly beauty deals and coupons for drugstores. Her blog comes in handy. http://nouveaucheap.blogspot.com/ Good luck Andrea let me know how it works out for you.

I use ELF Studio Cream Liner and it is amazing. I do agree with lining your eye with a matte black eyeshadow after you apply the liner to keep it on all day.

Primer has been really important for me, and there are good drugstore ones now. I believe Loreal has one? My eyelids are oily and I have this same issue if I don't use primer. I had to switch to Physicians Formula liquid liner, though. I tried Wet N Wild but it burns my eyes for some reason. I do love their gel liner, and that comes with a brush so it won't set you back too much. It is worth buying because it does double duty and sets well in the waterline. My fave combo is Physicians Formula Eye Booster liquid then Maybelline Gel Eyeliner (also comes with an amazing brush). But I know it's hard to just go spend a bunch of money on new stuff...just wanted to mention for when you run out of what you now have. I sweat all day at work, I am a massage therapist, so I have gone through tons of products trying to get it to work just right.
Best of Luck!
