Marian, if you're interested, check out today's blog post on all four of these palettes (http://neutrakris.blogspot.com/2010/11/showcase-wet-n-wild-color-icon.html)! I also have a link to my YouTube video on these in the post as well!

My favorite is Golden Goddess, followed by Night Elf. Sugar Plum Fairy is my least favorite strictly because the particular one I own was a terrible mess in regards to chalkiness and messiness.

Hope my blog post/video answers your questions! :D

ooh ok i will kris! thanks

Awesome! Thanks so much :)

anyone in Southern California (like los angeles, or heck san fernando valley) found these freaking palettes yet?! i'm SOOO desperate i want want want now! lol

I've had my eye out for these, but haven't seen them yet.. I really hope they're released in Canada.

The Coloricon Holiday Collection ($4.99) is VERY limited. The only stores that I've seen carry it was Walgreens. ShopKo & RiteAid, which carried the Fantasy Makers, never got these palettes. Walgreens HAD them from what WnW has said it was very limited and quickly sold out. Once sold out there are no more.

From Facebook by wetnwild:

Hi Everyone! The palettes should be at your local drugstore, but they have been selling out rather quickly. We are completely out of stock here! Sorry! We had no idea they would be so popular!

BTW - if anyone bought the Fantasy Makers VAMP duo eyeshadow, the red and black from VAMP is the SAME red and black found in Night Elf.

I just bought one of their lipstains/glosses liquid lipstick and it's good! Later on I'll post the beauty review for it. Wet N' Wild makes good makeup! Love beauty bargains!

They certainly do, Anita!

Right now Walgreen's is having a sale (until 12/4) - 50% off all items. If you can find the Holiday Coloricon you can pick it up for around $2.50.

I don't know about other Walgreen's, but my local Walgreen's didn't honor the sale on the Holiday Palettes. I suppose because they were limited edition. The sale only applied to regular Wet n' Wild products.

This may vary by location. Just thought I'd let you know.

Weird since the weekly flier says ALL Wet 'n' Wild but then again Walgreens has always been a chain that allows each store to set a different policy.

I know what you mean Kris but I called the manager to the register and explained that there are no exclusions in the print on the sales paper plus they they only show 3 items on the paper but we all know there are multiple WNW items and that they should honor it like most of the walgreens do.
they had 2 snow sprites and 2 Night Elfs! The lady put a Night Elf on hold for me as well. So Yaya Finalyy got the Night Elf which is gorgeous!!!
I'm still hesitant on Snow Sprite? do you guys like snow sprite?

I have been using Snow Sprite lately trying to achieve a look for a tutorial. The matte silver is gorgeous with no fallout. The navy blue (which I've been using) is super pigmented and lovely on the lid. It doesn't blend too terribly well and has a significant amount of fallout. I have yet to try the greens in this palette. I have tried the silver liner that comes with it, but I am a sucker for black eyeliner and so I don't use it in my looks. I wish I could get away from black eyeliner haha.

Night Elf and Golden Goddess are my favorites of the four available. Snow Sprite isn't bad, but I don't think it's as nice as the aforementioned.

Hey Kris! I was so happy to see on twitter that WNW did a shout out to ya on your vid! Congrats. are you signed up for their ambassador program too?

so Snow Sprite is not all that hugh, i guess i will only get it if they give the 2.50 price again.jejeje
yes please show me the look maybe we can put it on the gallery.
I have yet to try the Golden Goddess and Night Elf I dabbled with sugar plum fairy but that white on the top left was chalky. but the purples are beautiful.

Kris Have you or any of you girls tried depotting these palettes?
or has an idea how we can put these palettes together to form a bigger palette? does this make sense

i depotted other shadows and magnetized them in a greeting card tin believe me it left me with more room in my makeup case.

I haven't depotted the palettes yet but it looks fairly easy to do since there seems to be enough room to slide a knife under to pop it out.

As for how well the colors look together let me toss a larger image up on Image Shack.

I think the colors would look good together as one palette since some of the colors from Snow Sprite will look good with Sugar Plum Fairy and Night Elf. Golden Goddess can work with Night Elf and the pinks from Sugar Plum Fairy and greens from Snow Sprite.

Do you think its a good idea to depot them or should i just glue them together some how?. the thing is they can break in my case when they are all in the single palettes. oh i just followed you btw Yasmin! nice to have you on Beautylish

Thanks for the follow! :)

I think it maybe a good idea if you use the colors often enough to justify the depotting. Right now I haven't because I need to get a case for it so they're not out every where. I think if you collect a lot of the coloricons (not just the holiday) it's a good idea because you can create your own large palette to work with and can group colors together by hue and saturation.

awe Thanks:)
um ok i will keep that in mind. If i had a larger slimmer tin then i can depot them all together and it be a slammin palette.lol but if not then i can just glue all the palletes together and slap it on a larger tin. I did a cd case too but really do not trust it, i just have my nikka k shadows glued on.lol
Thanks Yasmin do you have pics of any depotted diy pallete you have made?

Not yet. I'm heading to Walgreens to pick up the other Color Icon palettes since they're 50% off. There are four other Color Icon palettes that contain six shadows:

246 Greed (pair with Night Elf)
247 Pride (pair with Snow Sprite)
248 Lust (pair with Sugar Plum Fairy)
249 Vanity (pair with Golden Goddess)

I also have the Color Icon singles but haven't checked to see if it's the same size as a single shadow from the bigger palettes. If they are then there are seven more colors to add:

250A Sugar
251A Brulee
252B Nutty
254B Lagoon
255B Penny
256B Envy
257A Kitten

I'm really kicking myself for not buying more of the Fantasy Makers during Halloween. I have VAMP but missing the other two duos (1 of which I owned but my youngest daughter "borrowed" and is now missing). At least I didn't really miss out on anything else since the palettes with nine shadows were cream shadows which weren't that great.

At any rate, I'll head on out today and get the rest of the normal palettes and depot them on Saturday. I'll be out of town tomorrow for the state high school football game with my daughter.

BTW - Here's the link to the official Holiday Collection:
http://wnwbeauty.com/hot.htm

The shadows are part of the "Pixie Collection" while the nail polish are "Glitz & Glam" (12 polishes in that collection) and "Vixen's Mittens" (9 polishes in that one). The nail polishes I have not seen at all - not at ShopKo, Walmart, Walgreens or RiteAid. I haven't checked Fred Meyer since that's a bit out of my way.

Marian - Yes, I did sign up. It was so very nice of them to shout-out to me on Twitter. I was very surprised! :)

I haven't depotted any of my shadows as of yet. Once I get the look perfected I will send you some pics. Thanks!
