Philosopy's "On a Clear Day" kit really helped my skin from breaking out. It didn't make my skin real dry like some other products have in the past.

I agree with Shaylee F. I would also recommend a benzoyl peroxide product, although concentrations lower than 10% can be hard to find. My favorites are Clean & Clear Persa Gel 10 and ZapZyt acne treatment gel.

Clinique's Anti-Blemish Line (foam cleanser, toner, & moisturizer) is just... wow! I haven't tried their soap, but I hear it works wonders too. Their anti-blemish clay mask is good too! I also recommend Clinique's Moisture Surge to prevent over-drying. It's oil-free so no worries. Oh, I also can't live without Neutrogena's on-the-spot treatment. :)

I like CosMedix's Clarity serum. Juice Beauty also has a blemish serum.

i'm going to go against what everyone says here and tell you i pop squeeze w/e that shizit til its gone, then i use rubbing alcohol or some other germ killer, a toner, and an exfoliator a few days afterwards.. sounds strange but it works... and i know yall are going to say blemish squeezing is a big no-no... but you can't tell me you've never popped a zit when it would gtfo before a date =]
but seriously, i love all biore products, clean and clear toner helps keep my pores clean, and neutrogena's basic cleanser is the best ive tried by far!

I went to the dermatologists, and I wished I'd never used money trying to test things in the drugstore! They gave me creams and also advice on what kinda vitamins to prevent future blemishes :)

If you have the money I'd definitely go to a dermatologist.
I say this because reading what everyone says makes me realise that if you take everyones advice, you might get really disappointed or it might work brilliantly!
Clinques Anti-Blemish line was awful on my face. I broke out so badly from it, and I literally had sensitive red skin every time I used it, and I don't have sensitive skin!
I personally use products that I've spent years trying to find to help me not break out so badly and I still break out occassionaly! I had my first appointment ever with a dermatologist last week and he gave me so much amazing advice that we couldn't fit in all in the one hour session so I'm going back.
Once they know what skin you have, and what is actually causing the skin break outs, then you can help your skin!

I went to a dermatologist, I was prescribed with Acne-Aid soap, an Erythromycin solution, then a topical cream with benzoyl peroxide only on pimples that are ready to pop, not for the red inflamed ones, but those that are ready to burst. sunscreen is necessary to prevent hyperpigmentation.
all the best. did i mention i have oily, acne-prone skin?

After i wash my face, i will use the Clean&Clear moisturizer with salisylic acid, this will help moisturize and treat after you wash your face. After that, i will go and use the BERTS BEES HERBAL BLEMISH STICK, which is only about 7.00 at drugstores/department stores. You will see results right away.
