I was just wondering how you guys travel with it? Do you take a lot or a little? A train case full or a pencil case size full? How do you even decide what you want to take? Are you ever nervous things are going to break on the way? Just tell me everything about your experiences or how you deal with it or would deal with it!
I personally just take my cosmetics bag from verabradley and put everything in there. I mainly travel from PA to MI by airplane so.. it would be kind of difficult to take a train case, not to mention nerve racking for me! I spend days thinking about what I'll take and what I'll leave. It's just a huge production! While my clothes I just randomly pick out and throw into a suitcase! Oh gosh!

With me, I just throw my makeup in a bag and throw it in the truck! Haha, I usually just take my palettes and anything that I usually wear a lot with me because I never know what I want to wear makeup wise until I just look at my makeup. Thankfully, none of my makeup breaks when I travel and I make sure that I always keep it in the truck with me just in case. I don't like putting it in a suitcase until I get to wherever I'm going. Packing my makeup is super easy for me. The problem is, figuring out where to put the new makeup I just bought on my trips! Haha.

You're right! I forgot about having to pack the new makeup! I need to remember that when I pack for my next trip!

It really depends on the trip and mode of transportation for me. For example, when I'm doing a weekend trip with my family, I normally just pack my makeup in a small-ish makeup bag. But when I went to New York for IMATS, I had three full makeup bags because I had to make sure I looked fierce lol! In a couple of weeks my family and I are roadtripping to New Jersey for 3 weeks, so I'm actually just bringing my whole Zuca Pro bag to fill it with all my makeup/hair stuff/toiletries. Sad, I know, but I also have some makeup jobs up there with my family so I need to make sure I have everything with me! :P

I generally plan out what looks I'd be wearing and then pack my makeup according to that. I'd love to bring everything but it won't be feasible at all! Lol..and can you imagine losing them should there be some luggage mixup?!
That said, I usually buy my eyeshadow in palettes rather than singles, so I can always bring the whole thing when I travel. Or if I have singles, I de-pot them and stick them all in a custom made palette. And if u happen to forget to bring anything, well...u can always buy new ones at your travel destination! ;D

I used to be horrible for this I am now getting better. I pack all the things I need for a neutral look and then a darker shadow and lipstick in case i go somewhere special.
I actually broke some mac shadows when I moved last. I managed to fix them as they weren't too badly broken but it does happen you just have to be careful.
I know when I travel by plane I take powder foundation and stuff so I can keep it all in my carry on. That's the only thing that I've found that really helps. :)

I usually pack all of my powder products in my carry-on - so I know that it's me handling my palettes and no one is tossing it around. If I'm carrying in liquids such as foundations, setting sprays, moisturizers, etc. - I'll pack those on my check-in bag to make sure I don't run the risk of some overzealous customs agent tossing them. I make sure I put those in a ziplock bag - or if it's a spray bottle that can't lock, I seran-wrap it before putting it into a ziplock bag.
