All, i've heard both over the years, but I'd like some new feedback. When applying your foundation, do you put yours on your eye area, or do you skip it?

I put a thinner layer on my eyelids.

Like, Dannielle, I also put a thinner layer of foundation on my lids. I do this so that when applying my eyeshadow, the color looks the same as it would if I applied it elsewhere on my face. Basically, putting your foundation on your eye area as well creates a completely even skin tone because some of us may have discolored eyelids or eyelids that are lighter/darker than the rest of our faces.
Foundation can also act as a primer for your eyeshadow to help it last longer. And because your eyes can also be damaged from UV rays, and many foundations now contain SPF, applying foundation to your eye area can protect your eyes from UV light.

Mmmm I put concealer all over my lids before eyeshadow. I do my eyes, clean them up , then conceal my face and foundation over the face. But that's how I do it :)
