hey beauties.
i am currently trying to grow out my hair but i have to keep up with highlights as i don't want major rootage and my natural hair colour is greyish brown. i tried dying my hair closer to my natural colour before but i found that it washed me out and it damaged my hair just as much as the bleach did (even semi permanent colour.) so i have decided to stay a blonde but my hair needs a little help, i am using argan oil, coconut oil, castor oil & avocado oil (i know right?) but my hair needs something with protein in. i have used eggs in my hair but its just not enough i need something thicker and that will penitrat my hair better. any suggestions? prefferably under 20 pounds
The Aphogee 2 minute keratin treatment is an excellent protein treatment. Where do you reside? It's available at Sally's Beauty Supply stores here in Canada and the U.S...not sure where else though. The CHI keratin protein spray-in treatment is pretty good as well, but I find Aphogee superior. :) Hope this helps!
hey girls thanks for the suggestions,
i have tried aussie and i really dont like it, it did nothing for my hair at all:(
i have tried macadamia hair mask, oil and sulphate free shampoo and loved them but this is not something i can offored being sixteen and in college but i really do love these products and i will definatly look into some of these suggestions thankyou girls and if there are any more keep them coming :)
Ive always used Mayonnaise to deep condition my hair! It does sound strange but hair needs protein for deep conditioning and the best source of protein (without putting actual meat on your hair) is mayonaise. I just use Hellman's mayonaise and apply it to the ends of my hair and a little on the lengths, wait 15-20 minutes and then wash off in the shower :)
I have long hair and it took me a long time to grow it out healthy! I love the Body Shop's Moisture Hair Butter and it's great because it's natural. I did a review on my blog on it as well http://www.sbeautyx0x0.blogspot.ca/
Coppola makes a great Vanilla Bean deep keratin conditioning treatment that we use on clients at the shop and you consumers can purchase it as well. Here is an amazon link.
i have tried mayonnaise but the smell makes me gag so i tried cocnut oil with egs and that was okay but still not enough and thankyou i will have a look at that :)x
i really don't like Aussie i have tried like five of their products and none of them did anything maybe its my hair type or something but it didn't work for me
I really like the Palmer's Coconut Oil Protein Pack, I'm not sure if you can get it in the UK but you can order it online. It's $1.50 USD and each pack is pretty big, I'm able to get 4 uses out of each one now that I've gotten my hair healthy! Good luck <3
