Hopefully someone can give me some fashion advice, I bought this grey maxi dress from aerie and I want to know how to style it. It's just a straight, grey maxi dress, and I want some ideas on how to style it. And try to focus less attention from the midsection because it's sort of snug there. Thanks (:

I would wear it with a chambray! And some heeled sandals or wedges

Yeah some wedges or flatforms! Maybe a nice cardigan and those collar necklaces that sit really well on the neck and chest. Or some really nice kind of sandally shoes that are really feminine :) Awesome dress though!

Wear it with a jean jacket and Toms on a relaxing day, on a evening out, wear it with a shawl and wedges :-)

ooh i love posts like these! i would wear like a jean jacket and a thin summer scarf! those are great ways to distract from the midsection and also make the outfit cuter! hope that helps!

I would suggest a cardagin being that the material of a cardigan and your maxi will be pretty much similiar so everything flows add big earrings or a statement necklace, gladiator bracelet and a updo :)

Flat metalic sandals, a bright lip color, big earrings, chunky bracelets, and a light loose fit summer cardigan or scarf are what I would go for

I would remove the belt, to distract the attention from the waist area (if that's what you want), and add a very long necklace. Styling-wise, I would go for something like this:
Hope it helps! xoxo

Cute shoes, and a longer fun fashion necklace to enlongate your body, and draw attention to your shoulders instead of your waistline...fun glasses and a cute bag will work too.
