Does Mane N Tail actually work for hair growth?

Iabsolutely LOVE mane n tail! Its honestly the only shampoo that I have used so far that actually REALLY makes my hair grow and fast too! After using just one bottle of the regular sized shampoo and conditioner my hair had grown an inch if not more in about a month.. I also used it on my 2 year old little girls hair like 5 times if that..it made her hair SPROUT! I was truly amazed at the results it made on my little girl.. everyone kept saying how long mine and hers hair was getting.. and my hair has ALOT of dead ends from dyes and perms and flat irons and it still works thru all the damage! I also trim about a centimeter off of my hair once a month to help it!. Some people say that trimming hair dose not help it grow and that it stunts the growth and blah blah.. but with me it works great. I swear 3 months ago my hair stopped right below my bra strap and now its 3 inches away from touching my butt just about! My boyfriend measured it for me the other day and my hair is 25 inches long! I'm so excited about it! I have become a little obsessive with making my hair grow lol I'm now trying the product line called "not your mothers" and I'm using the red bottle "way to grow" I have the shampoo conditioner and leave in conditioner. I've only been using it for a few days.. got it at walmart for 4 $ each! Ill let everyone known how that works out for me! Good luck I hope you get good results like I do!... honestly no I'm mixed and have thick curly hair so I don't know if that has somthing to do with it not making it grow but the smell is absolutely amazing and I do feel that it softens my curls and makes my hair clean and for 3 bucks why not ?

This makes me laugh because I use this product on my horse's mane and tail and well all over, if it works as well as it does for my horse I might have to try it. If you are having trouble finding it go to a farm based store or horse tack shop.

I don't think it's making your hair grow, rather repairing split ends, making your hair LOOK longer .

I use to use it years ago. I never saw a difference in the growth of my hair... But when I was trying to grow my hair out I followed a these steps on this blog and it WORKED!!! As a hair dresser, everything she recommends makes sense and I agree w. Besides the trimming part. lol.

mane and tail does strengthen your hair, like some of the other ladies said, so it breaks and sheds less. And I believe prenatal vitamins do work. I take them : )

It won't help your hair grow but it will attempt to preserve what you have by making it stronger and healthier so there is less breakage! Everything you ingest effects your hair, so taking biotin and prenatal vitamins are the way to go.

I tried it and it didn't help my hair grow, I didn't like the smell though. I told my dad to try it and it worked on him so I guess it depends. If you go to Walmart try to look for it in the pet section where they have shampoos for dogs and stuff. That's where I found mine. (:

You can also try taking Silica. It's a natural supplement made from the Horsetail plant. It helps hair & nail growth.

I used this products a hand full of times and its worked wonders on my hair. I noticed my hair lookEd & felt much healthier within a couple of days. It didn't necessarily make my hair grow, but it made my hair much stronger. I would try out this product because it does wonders to your hair, don't get the olive oil based one I noticed it made my hair feel greasy.

You should try herbal essence shampoo and conditioner the red bottles. It's for long hair and I felt like my hair was just growing like crazy when I used that

I love it . But it doesn't make your hair grow . But it makes your hair stronger and healthyer to grow longer . Good luck :)

I love mail and tail!! I used it for a while and my hair grew almost 2 inches in a month! It's wonderful. It smells great, it's pretty cheap, and it gives your hair the best silky smooth feeling :) Definitely worth it
