Here in Hawaii it's a little over $6.00. I got it a week or two ago too from Target, and I fell in love -- and I have oily oily skin!
I wanted to get one as back up, but I had the hardest time opening it, then I realized it was open because I saw white powder on the packaging, so I returned it.
But here are a few tips... since it gets very messy... I kept that sticky film on it. Instead I used say a needle (or something really sharp) and just poked through some holes... enough so that enough product comes out, but not too much to the point it gets messy.
Tip #2. for my application what I do is use the puff that comes with it (it's pretty soft considering I read some bad reviews saying it was hard, etc.)... I tap the powder on face... all over my face. I tend to concentrate on my T-Zone. I just tap. Then I go over it with a clean Kabuki brush and just buff it out. This method helps the product set into my face, and it buffs away any excess product.
I actualy bought it a couple of months ago from the ELF site (european) and i totally agree!!!!On a good day i use ONLY that, and my skin feels smooth and matte for hours!!!Or else I use it over my Skinfood Peach Tea BB Cream. The puff is pretty good too,not hard at all!
I cant say much about the Elf translucent powder but for the past month ive been using the Makeup Forever HD which should be the same as the elf one and it doesnt keep me matte :( Im soo fustrated i get oily so quckly so i wouldnt get either. Dying to try the rimmel stay matte tho :3
I just wanted to know if anyone else who purchased it from Target had a major breakout?! I wore this and went outside, when I started getting warm, my face started itching like crazy! And then that night when I took it off, I had little itchy bumps under my skin, and some whiteheads. When I purchased it of the site, this never happened to me! I was just wondering if anyone else had this reaction.
YES! its awesome! I also purchased the primer and foundation. I actually prefer it with my hard candy sheer envy underneath. The 3 products together = flawless!
I have been eyeing this for a long time but never picked it up! I figure since its finally getting hot where I live I should hunt some down. Thanks for the tip!

Another great powder that is cheap but gives you more in a jar than ELF is Ben Nye's translucent powders.
