I usually have really clear skin, I only happen to breakout close to my time of the month with a pimple or two but lately it seems like I have clusters on my chin and my forehead. I recently purchased MAC foundation and powder as well as Bare Minerals foundation, I would hate to think that these were causing my breakouts since I love them so much! I have heard many people say that MAC causes them to breakout but I would like to think its something I am doing or not doing that is causing these outbreaks to occur.
Does anyone know of any face washes or products out there that can help me with my situation? Or even maybe just advice of something to cut out of my skin care routine? I would hate to believe that it is makeup causing these breakouts!
i`ve recently read a book that said that honey on your pimples works to get rid of them im not sure if you would like to try that out
yeah, honey gets rid of my pimples:)

I've always had break outs and a few weeks ago I started using Beauty Without Cruelty Herbal Cream face wash in the morning, and at night using Olivella Face and Body Wash. I also use Acne Free 5% Benzoyl Peroxide spot treatment. I feel like ever since I've been using the two face washes that my skin has been a lot clearer. The Olivella face wash works really well at taking make up off.
Thank you to everyone for responding =] I have heard about Honey as well but have been hesitant to try it ... I don't think it would hurt! @ Tracey- where can I get that face wash at? Would it be at Ulta or online somewhere?

You should try something in home like honey! The potassium doesn't let bacteria live there! I have a simple mask on my blog just posted :) I wouldn't try if you have oily skin though! But if you do have dry skin and acne it try it!!

You should try the Mario Badescu skin care products. They work great and the results are immediate. If you just have problem acne, like just a simple zit, then I recommend you use ithe Drying Lotion. It should come in a small glass bottle and it has a lotion at the bottom and some alcohal base on top of that. You can get it on the online store or at any local Ulta store. If you have acne all over then the Acne Face Wash works good and the other type of Drying Lotion that comes in a small container. Yeah, some of the products can be a bit expensive but the results are amazing and immediate. I hope that this helps. (:
hhhmmm... it could posebly be your make up, you may have to switch. I tryed MAC and i broke out like I had chicken pox. So I do not have very good reviews on my personal experiance but every one is different. Try a morning and night washing routine with products that target oil and shine. Like Marks "that's deep" cleanser and "matte chance" mattifing lotion. they arnt expensive and they work together to wash away and decrease oil. and if you dont like them, you can always retrun them :) and get yr money back.
Believe it or not witch hazel will do the trick! I use a cleanser by DERMAdoctor called Aint Misbehavin'. This product has witch hazel in it witch is an astringent to target bacteria. Plus i use Dickinsons Pore Perfecting Witch Hazel Toner. Im tellin you im BREAK OUT FREE!! Hope this helps
