I have shoulder length layered hair and I want to wear it in a braid or braids for work but I don't want to look like a little girl. Any help would be appreciated.
This was my hair a few months ago and it has grown some its down to my shoulders. I've tried doing French braids but I'm horrible at them. I can do a fishtail but I feel like they look weird bc it doesn't start from the top of my head.
I suck at braids too! Lol but that "big" messy one is super easy! And the waterfall one isn't as hard as it looks! There are lots of tutorials on yt...
Brandi, if you can do a fishtail, do that. I NEVER start my fishtail plait from the top of my head, I wear it on the side, so start from the nape of my neck, I think it looks more grown up like that :) Oh, and I only learnt how to do waterfall braids this week, and they are very easy (even to do on your own hair)

I would try doing a French braid and to make it more mature loosen it up and add a pretty headband :)

I love the waterfall braid too but it looks really hard to do. I might have to try that on my mannequin.
