Ok, so I went to my stylist and she cut my bangs waaaay too short. They're currently about an inch above my eyebrows and are incredibly uneven.
I have no idea what to do with them...they're too short to pull back with a headband or bobby pins? any suggestions? I've been wearing a beanie for a week just to hide them :[[[[
That's what I've been trying to do haha. I've been sort of pinning it in place to the side, and then throwing a bandana on...It's just driving me crazy because I got my hair cut for a new job and it now looks ridiculous. They even refused to fix it/return my money ;-;
thats stupid, most places will offer to fix it for free -.- if you feel confident, you could always try and fix it yourself? There's plenty of tutorials around and it's fairly simple :)
I've gotten it evened out mostly....It's just too short to really fix at this point. There's about a 1/2 inch to an inch from the tip of my bangs to my scalp >_< Well, I called the owner of the salon, and she said that they don't give refunds, and they were too booked to fix it and I'd have to wait at LEAST a month and with it as short as it is, all I can really do is wait. I definitely won't be going back there again -.-
If you've got the time, turn up without an appointment and remind them that you shouldn't NEED an appointment to fix THEIR mistakes. Then hang out and "wait" for someone to come available, telling everyone who comes in after you exactly why you're there and what happened. I bet it takes them no time at all to find someone suddenly "available" to help you. Then go ahead and do the terrible yelp review, but be aware that the really bad ones get filtered out as "probably fake" (this irritates me)
Do they really? That's ridiculous....O_O Maybe I should attach a picture of my horrid bangs x.x Angela, that sounds like a pretty nice idea. I may just have to try that...any styling ideas?
That sounds completely ridiculous. I hate salons like that, with their crazy sense of entitlement. Mistakes are mistakes. Seriously. That would be a moment when I, someone who NEVER complains, goes completely bezerk. You should've knocked down the shampoo racks! =P
It looks like there isn't much you can do to "fix" it at this point, but don't worry. Bangs grow fast! Take a straightener to them the longer they get and don't dry them with a round brush because that'll just make 'em shorter. Pin those suckers back and laugh about it because at this point, there's nothing much else that you can do. Congratulations, you now have your own official salon horror story! =P

Try your best to push it into a side fringe, bangs grow really quickly so I woudn't worry for much longer :)
