If you want to splurge: MAC and/or Louise Young. (My MAC faves - 239 and 217. My Louise Young faves - LY14 and LY38.)
If you want to save: EcoTools, Real Techniques, Sigma, or Sonia Kashuk.

Mac ones if you are looking at it as an investmest (217/239) or go for the real techniques ones, there is a kit with 5 brushes which covers everything you need if you are just starting out, plus it's cheap at around 20 pounds :) hope it helped

I threw away all of my cheap brushes because they kept getting so ratty. I decided to invest in all MAC brushes and love the quality. My favorite eyeshadow brush is MAC #239. It's well worth it!! Make sure to clean brushes often to make them last longer and work better.
