At least from when you started actually getting into makeup.
A few years ago, I couldn't go more than 4 days without buying something. I'd buy EVERYTHING I could even get my hands on - it got bad.
The reason I'm asking this is because I haven't bought ANY makeup since December & I can honestly say that's the longest I've ever gone since I was about 13 years old (I'm 20 now)
Stuff came up in my life & it was no longer such a high priority. Luckily, bc of all the stuff I've collected, not once have I felt like I need something that I don't have. It's nice.
What about you guys?

Months. I have a pretty decent amount of makeup, but I've collected it over a long span of time. I don't buy makeup often now because I just can't afford to. I buy maybe one thing a month. But I have a lot to use up, so it works out :)

I'm on a personal challenge to not buy any makeup till I use up atleast 25-50% of all I got. It mostly eyeshadows I keep collecting and it has to stop. I started this in february and I'm doing quite well, I've bought some stuff but those were skincare and face products.
I'm really conscious on what I buy, even for clothes. And I'm happy playing around with what I have. Besides I'm saving on the side for a rainy day. :)

I used to buy makeup so infrequently, that when I went back to the makeup counter to ask for a color, they'd laugh because it had been discontinued three years prior! Or I'd take a case in for a refill and they'd look at amazement that my case was from like, two generations past. But since I started working at Beautylish I've become obsessed with makeup and it's hard not to buy something every week or so. That's being restrained. I'd like to buy something every day!

I cant even go a week. My never buying makeup days are gone.. I used to not even wear it until the summer of 7th grade, now Im graduating and I buy drugstore makeup everytime i go to the store which is at least once a week. And high end is very rarely. less than once a month.. maybe once every two or three.

I only started getting serious about make up in like December. And I didn't buy anything again until February. And then I started back in May. So I guess around that 1.5-2 month range...I'm giving my pockets a rest right now, lol. All I need is a decent eye shadow palate, concealer and a blending brush and then I'm done for a while.
