Em and Katie are right, it can be dangerous to inhale because talc (the main ingredient) is mineralogically similar to asbestos and may even contain minute amounts of asbestos, which can cause lung cancer. If you want to use baby powder, use a talc-free kind. Burt's Bees makes one.
Whether or not it causes acne or is drying to your skin really depends on your skin type. Talc-free baby powder works for some people to control shine, but not others.
