I was just scrolling through these questions and saw people mention African Black Soap. They said it works great on acne and is great for your skin. I get a zit here and there every once in awhile, so I would just like to know if it actually works and where I can buy it from other than the internet.

I got mine at bed bath and beyond. I use it to treat the annoying little pimples I get and it's been working nicely :) and it smells good.

I'm curious about it as well but my issues are with dry skin, not acne. Does anyone know if it would it be good on dry skin?

Well if you have problem areas like visible dry spots or uneveness on your face it will help.. and the soap is very drying after you rinse it off so I recommend using a good moisturizer directly afterwards.

African black soap can work for all skin types as long as you use a moisturizer me I buy a tub of 100% pure african black soap on amazon and then I use neutrogena visibly even moisturizer and it works magic african black soap is very drying but at the same time it moisturizes deep so you do need to make sure you have a good moisturizer and it is definitely worth it I am addicted and they both help with evening out skin tone and getting rid of dark spots as well so together it's great try it and let me know how it goes.

Thanks for the info! I came across it the other day at my favorite health food store and now I'm glad I didn't buy it, sounds like it'd be too drying for my skin type.
