Do sunburns turn into tans?

I just got a bad sunburn today and just wondering if there's any way it will or can be turned into a tan? Thanks xxx

Yes there is a way... Depending on your skin type you will be tan by morning :)

In my experience, if I got burnt and then healed then go back in the sun, I would start to get darker. However it took a lot of burns and effort and time.I have since accepted the fact that I burn way too badly to mess with tanning and such. I'm very pale. Anyway, I wouldn't say a burn turns into a tan. I am by no means an expert and can be totally wrong though!

It depends. If its a really bad burn and it peels than new skin grows back and it's a lighter, natural color. If its not that bad and doesn't peel then yes, it will turn tanner

It depends on the person. I can burn and a few days later it turns tan. But my friend peels and goes back to her original color. So it depends on the person really.

It does depend on your skin type. I rarely burn but when I do its tan in a day or two. Then there's skin like my sister who burns and doesn't tan at all.

Technically, yea they do. But there are those instances where you peel like heck and its not really any color.
